Jay E. Bowermeister, CEO
Mr. Bowermeister founded GITS in May of 2001 to provide licensing exam services to the state of Florida. Previously he was responsible for item development and content management at Experior Assessments, and its predecessor, Block testing. Prior, he was Vice President of Research at Construction Education Information where he directed primary construction codes research programs and taught continuing education classes to construction professionals. He is a Florida class "A" A/C contractor and was a registered mechanical contractor in AL, FL, MS and TN. He holds a Baccalaureate degree from the University of Memphis.
